What the sign-up form sends
When you press the button, your browser sends one request to the Income Brain service that runs this site's list (income-brain.premed-toolkit.workers.dev). It contains: your email address; the list name, energy-buyback; the exact consent sentence shown beside the button; the address of the page you were on; any utm source, medium and campaign tags in the link you arrived by; and a hidden spam-trap field that people leave empty. Like any web request, it also carries your IP address. The service uses it only to limit repeated attempts and keeps a salted, hourly hash of it, not the address itself. Nothing else is sent.
The consent sentence is: "Email me when Texas buyback plan rates change and when new city data is published from Rate & Roof. Double opt-in, unsubscribe in one click. No spam, never sold."
Double opt-in, unsubscribe, no selling
- A confirmation email goes out first. Nothing else is sent until you click the link in it.
- Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe.
- The list is not sold.
What stays in your browser
- Calculator inputs are used only in the page and are not sent anywhere.
- Your light or dark theme choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the name rr-theme.
- If you arrive through a link with utm tags, they are held in your browser's session storage for the visit so a later sign-up can carry them.
What this site does not do
The site's own code sets no cookies and loads no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Display ads are not switched on (the site's AdSense setting is not approved); if that changes, this page will say so first. The release system can count how many times each released page is requested per day, by page address only and without visitor identifiers, when a counter database is attached to the site. The web host may also keep ordinary request logs, as hosts commonly do.
This page describes what the code does today. It publishes no contact address yet.
